Barack Obama & Joe Biden

Phaedrus wrote in part "Sen. Biden is safe, low negatives, popular with Independents, to the right of the middle of the Democratic Senate, has the gravitas to be seen as the Pres., and carries the look of a candidate. "

Biden is a 30-year Senate veteran, a major insider, 65-years old and as Phaedrus wrote "looks" Presidential. He is the polar opposite of Obama's "Change" message and shares many the key attributes Obama disparages in McCain. The upside is there's  now an adult with a developed philosophy on the Dimocrat ticket, in the VP slot.     

I guess, my question would be

Why do Democrats wait until the last minute?

Why not find and fund GOOD candidates between election?

Why not start on Day 1, after the election?
Democrats ALREADY have the infrastructure, why not USE it?

If, the day after Bu$h got crowned Preznit, the Democrats would start weeding and vetting  Presidential and Vice Presidential candidates, couldnt they have done better than Obama (AND Hillary) and who ever they chose as VPs less than 90 days BEFORE the ELECTION?

This would give them plenty of time to 'frame' the debate and SELL the American people on their choices, instead of waiting for the last minute and depending on HUGE amounts of MONEY for last minute ADVERTISING and DIRTY politics....

The REAL question is why don't Libertarians put a VIABLE candidate in front of THE American people 365 days a year?

Why do YOU sit on the sidelines and COMPLAIN and WHINE like little CHILDREN yet fail year to year to get YOUR message out to the public. Maybe the problem IS the message.

Onlt one thing is for sure. YOU will lose another election and YOU will whine for another four years. Meanwhile adults will go about the business of selecting a leader, flaws and all, to get behind. YOU might think about trying it.

And it is obvious that Libertarian DON"T have the INFRASTRUCTURE to run a 4 year campaign like the Blue and Red TEAMS do, NOR do they have the CORPORATE interests to fullfill....
