Advocates of Proposition 107, the so-called “Protect Marriage Amendment” is cruel and attempting to scare the public into thinking that voting against Prop 107 will encourage same-sex marriage. Nothing is further from the truth.  The right and especially the religious right, is always trying to take away our freedom of choice.  These people would rather see children, seniors and all families who are currently benefiting from their domestic partners healthcare be denied, leaving them without health insurance this includes visiting them in emergency rooms and any decision making process. This also hurts those in a domestic violence situation.

It is so tedious and time consuming to decipher the propositions that we need to be very careful and understand what we are voting for. I’m so tired of the proponents of various propositions “tricking” the public at large. This practice needs to stop.
 
I will not be forced into marriage for insurance benefits etc… because some wacko right-winger who wants to see everyone married…
