Toward the end of President Clinton’s second term, I thought his wife would make a good candidate for president.  I would have worked for her campaign, and rather hoped for her to go for the presidency at some time in the future.

That was then.

Her performance during this primary season is disturbing, to say the least.  It has become apparent that she will do and say what it takes to gain power.

She has from the beginning insinuated gender and race into the race.  Insinuated, that is in a subtle way, targeting Hispanic voter blocks, younger women and white men.  That is cultivation of her “base” to the exclusion of the rest of us and the real issues facing us.  It is business as usual in the best Bu$hite tradition.  It perpetuates the despicable divisive politics for profit that is the hallmark of the gang in power today.  I for one am not going to vote for more of the same!

Her claim to a resume of experience that prepares her to deal with the demands of the presidency on “day one” is as bogus as a seventeen dollar bill.  That claim is such thin gruel that it is laughable.  It is an insult to the Average American’s level of gullibility – which is admittedly a pretty low bar.

But now she is lying about her credentials, and getting bolder with each telling.  I am embarrassed for her, and ashamed that she has stooped to such low tactics.  And even more to the point, I am disgusted that she takes us for such gullible fools.

Her embrace of the Republican nominee as an ally in her campaign to discredit Obama in an effort to win the nomination boggles the mind, and must delight the Republicans.  Talk about Judas.  Governor Richardson of New Mexico made a considered judgment about the future of our nation, and chose to support Obama.  She is undermining the party and our nation’s future for a baldly unprincipled grab for power.

John McCain is quite likely to give us a third Bu$hite term.  Hilliary will too, but she doesn’t even realize that she is unacceptable because she is doing business as usual.  That's ironic because she isn't even good at it!
