The Pentagon is seeking the death penalty for six men accused of conspiring to commit the 9/11 attacks. Thanks to the Dept of Defense the guys without the guts to seek martyrdom the first time around may get to meet the 79 virgins after all.
The plan is to execute them at Guantanamo Bay, a loophole created by Bush two years ago allows the Army to execute on int'l territory. That'll go over well with world public opinion.
I am not a pacifist by any means, but executing Prisoners of War, which, after all is what these men are if the War on Terror is legit, goes against what the US should stand for. Send 'em to the Hague, try 'em in Wash. D.C. I don't care, then put them in a metal box and feed them dog scraps for the rest of their natural lives.
We should keep them away from those lovely virgins for as long as possible.
