Essentially, the point of the above article is that the Ohio elections were stolen and proof may available.  It is entirely possible that John Kerry should be the President.

The above article got me to a-thinkin'.

What if it is proven that Bush/Cheney were elected through fraud and it was proven beyond any doubt?

Would it matter if the fraud couldn't be linked to actions of Bush/Cheney themselves?

No matter how they got there, they would be illegitimate holders of the offices of President and VP.

Is that a coup or sorts?

Would Bush/Cheney be forced out of office?  If so, by whom?

Who would replace them?  Kerry/Edwards?

Is there a constitutional line of succession in a case like that?

If so, it would go to Pelosi.  Would she put Kerry in as VP (after approval by the Senate)  and then immediately resign to give Kerry his rightful place?

Or is the whole point moot because the members of the Electoral College voted for Bush/Cheney and that is final?

Would the outrage of the country be different with a VP with approval ratings in the 20% range, and President in the 30% range then if a President was in the 55-60% approval range?

I know, I know.......the chances of this happening are slim to none.  But it is an interesting exercise.  I also realize that someone who is a lot smarter than me have an answer that makes the exercise kaput in a hurry.

What do you all think?
