Illegals are one of the most sore points for me of anything that I have ever come across in my life here in Arizona. As far as I'm concerned there is no justifiable reason to enable anyone to break the law so blatantly as the illegals are allowed to do. There are no "compassionate reasons" to do so. This is all mundane and redundant and it speaks volumes about people who will use all sorts of reasons to justify this. Supply and demand, cheap labor, moralistic arguments. I have often wondered why this is allowed to be condoned. All there is now is just talk about it and it will take nothing short of divine intervention to solve it as there are so many activists about it that seem to have no concern for the laws of our land. Our laws regarding immigration are mocked daily.

Corruption in Mexico: The biggest reason Vicente Fox can't do anything is because the corruption is so powerful In Mexico and the anti-Fox forces were so powerful his Presidency was fruitless. I am speaking of his Presidency from the beginning even as past tense.

Corruption is a disease in
Mexico. It is entrenched so deeply it almost can't be stopped. The filthy rich, corrupt, special interests of Mexico will not allow change. The only change that could take place is if there was complete revolution, all the assets of the corrupt seized and start all over.
But you see that can't happen either as long as they have enough power to thwart change at all levels of the government.

Same here. The corrupt and bleeding hearts of this Country will not allow a complete overhaul of the illegals problem. As long as you have people condemning any effort by groups of people who want to change it on the grounds of "bleeding heart" or so called "constitutional" excuses we are doomed to an invasion. Yes, an invasion. What else do you call it? A nation of laws means nothing to people who will attach all manner of excuses for the illegality of it. The humanity, the lower prices, cheap labor. Means nothing to me against the law aspect of it. We are either a nation of laws or we are not. We cannot conveniently make exceptions for moral or so called compassionate reasoning.

The ACLU, activist judges, and all others preventing laws from being enforced on the grounds of their "special" interests are the reasons we are being swallowed up by illegals. They think that the grounds for our Constitution are these "special" protections but the end result, as the illegals swarm here , is a much worse price to pay in the long run. IMHO.

Politics:I am convinced that Bush is one of the most incompetent Presidents we have ever had. He is blind to the average worker. Now I know there are partisan issues occurring daily from both sides but I have never seen such a bungled series of events as under Bush's watch. You maybe can take them one at a time and not see much cause for alarm, but the whole series put together is quite troubling. The only thing more troubling is people coming to the Conservative defense. However you add it all up, however you try to justify it, there are no justifications for the obscene tax cuts for the wealthy and all the cuts being made to the weakest, most vulnerable people of society. All in the name of Conservatism where the end somehow justifies the means. But it is a big price to pay at the expense of all the Average Joe's in this Country. No matter how conflicted or how unethical it may appear as a whole it is a never ending series of blind rationalizations on the Conservative side.

I am deeply troubled that when a memberr of Congress, any Party, gets in trouble, they go out of their way to be vindictive and wanting to bring in others in to the fold who may not have anything to do with their specific problems. Just innuendos and circumstantial happenings that may not even relate to their own crisis in any manner.
