The new and much improved Voice of North America is now up and running at full steam and I for one think is looks great. This has been for many of us here in Arizona an outlet and a place for us to come and discuss the issues of the day, the major fast breaking news that is a constant in the 24 hour news cycle we all enjoy in the 21st century. Now it is alive and growing throughout the united States. Voice of Maine, California, New York etc are going to bring hundreds of thousands of new writer covering every topic imaginable to the sites and expand both our knowledge and our community to new heights.
Congrats on a great looking site and one with a ton of new features for us all to learn and use to make the Voice community bigger and better.
TO the Voice or North America Crew, you did a fine job!

| Leave it to BAA Boy to kiss ass for change and label it progress! I'm in semi-shock - "great looking site"? the voice of the people? Seems there are even fewer articles showing than before and a helluva lot more blank space. In more Liberal settings, that might be tantamount to censorship! BAA's rave, "the major fast breaking news that is a constant in the 24 hour news cycle we all enjoy in the 21st century", has me wondering. Is a 4 day old lead news story in the Politics section timely just because it's about Republicans? But, hey, I may end up agreeing with BAA - if I can find a way to post an article... |

| Well, I do think it looks crisper. Being that web design is one of the things that BBB does, it's pretty important to not showcase a busy looking homepage. The integration with the latest newsfeed is also not a negative; even if the news itself is of poor journalistic quality. Rating comments could be useful, as well as the ability to see who is patting who on the back. I'm still not sure how to give a zero rating however, or to Stomp! Stomp! something into the trash. All in all, I think this is a step forward. But much like Jaguar in the Mac OS X operating system, there will be a lot of refinements necessary in the near future. I certainly can't fault AA for being loyal and grateful to Voice for the platform that have given him and tolerated his voice. When AA picks the right people to be loyal to, that loyalty is one of his more admirable traits. P.S. June is right. It would be nice to see a longer list of recent articles on the marquee, not an even shorter list. |

| Oh, six more small suggestions: 1) Can we add text color and font size to the formatting bar? 2. Where is the button to add pics? 3. How about an ability to edit your article or last comment (once)? It would be nice to fix stupid spelling and grammar errors that we make when posting while intoxicated. Especially when this stuff is now going out nationally. 4. The icons should be linked to the user name when appearing in article title lists. 5. How about getting rid of this 10 minute wait period between posts? Make it something like 2-3 minutes. I don't have 10 minutes to wait to post every afterthought I might come up with. And by the time I get to post the the next comment, somebody might have snuck in a comment that goes in an entirely different direction. 6. Built in spell-checker? |

I thought the reply button was just to reply to the article itself but it turns out it is a reply to a comment. See? This one is a reply to MIC's last comment. Also, I think that it might be a good feature to be able to edit your comments and/or articles as long as it is within a certain amount of time. Changing the wait time for commenting would also be good... you're right 10 minutes is way too long if you're in a heated conversation. |

View this Comment Pinball, You said that you were replying to my comment instead of the article, but for the life of me I can't tell the difference. Shouldn't there be an indent for replies in the same thread? |

I am a filthy spammer, I deserve to be castrated in front of a live televised audience... Thanks for listening to me.

How about a truce between you and I? We will stick solely to subject matter and keep our personal comments about each other to ourselves. What do you say? This includes screen names, we will respect each others from here on out. Our personal bickering does nothing for the site. Peace? |

| hypocrite says: Back to Leonard, he has placed himself in the public eye so is open to be ridiculed. Remember that Leonard before you cry foul. Like I have said before....beware of wolves in sheep's clothing..... You know it would be different if you actually expoused Jesus while claiming to be 'chrisitian' instead of torture, mass murder and the liars who torture and mass murder. It would have been different if you had not knee-jerked your rabid support of Bu$hCo and Ru$hCo in your irrational fear about Muslims......
Remember that hypocrite, before you cry foul......... |
