Palin should step down, conservative commentator says/span>/span>/span>/span>
From CNN Ticker Producer Alexander Mooney
CNN) – Prominent conservative columnist Kathleen Parker, an early supporter of Republican VP candidate Sarah Palin, said Friday recent interviews have shown the Alaska governor is "out of her league" and should leave the GOP presidential ticket for the good of the party.
[…] Oh, I hope not. McCane’s choice is just starting to bear fruit flies./span>/span>/span>/span>
/span>/span>/span>/span>
The criticism in Parker's Friday column is the latest in a recent string of negative assessments toward the McCain-Palin candidacy from prominent conservatives.
It was fun while it lasted," Parker writes. "Palin’s recent interviews with Charles Gibson, Sean Hannity, and now Katie Couric have all revealed an attractive, earnest, confident candidate. Who is clearly out of her league."
[…] Can it be that Conservatives are coming to their senses?/span>/span>/span>/span>
/span>/span>/span>/span>
“If BS were currency, Palin could bail out Wall Street herself," Parker also writes. "If Palin were a man, we’d all be guffawing, just as we do every time Joe Biden tickles the back of his throat with his toes. But because she’s a woman — and the first ever on a Republican presidential ticket — we are reluctant to say what is painfully true." /span>/span>/span>/span>
/span>/span>/span>/span>
[…] I do have to differ with Ms. Parker. It has to be pointed out that/span>/span>/span>/span>
Palin’s desperate stumbling cannot even be elevated to the level of /span>/span>/span>/span>
effective BS. /span>/span>/span>/span>

Digg It!

As Governor of Alaska she had many bosses (the people of Alaska), if John McCain wins the election she will have only one boss, John McCain and as VP has no actual duties other than be President of the Senate. As President of the Senate, she won't preside over the Senate, but will cast a vote in the event of a tie breaking vote in the Senate.
Anything else she does is simply what John McCain wants her to do.
The only problem would be if McCain kicked the bucket within the first year in office - once she gets past the first year or two, she would be fine as President.
