Obama would have sold many used cars today if anyone was on the lot.I watched the speech which was performed very well.However when he compared his grandmother to his pastor i thought,relatives are one thing, church pastors are another.I still think that being around someone like Wright for twenty years would have to have a long lasting negative feeling for anyone except blacks.The part i have a problem with is the way the people in the church cheer for the racist Wrights comments and how not one of them says anything negative about him.It makes one feel like a big conspiracy is taking place.I guarantee you could go to any church that ive been to and you would NEVER hear the pastor downgrade any race of people, and if for some reason he did most of the people would walk out.Noone walked out of Wrights church, but instead cheered him on like a pep rally for HITLER. Plus when Sharpton the racist was asked about it he said of course that white people dont understand black church proceedings. I and millions of others wouldnt go to church to get in a bad mood about my country or other races of people.but rather to be in a calm mood and reflect on lives of people being HAPPY.Maybe the atmosphere in black churches is what breeds hatred for others instead of harmony.If this is true then the black church industry needs to be changed before there will ever be unity between blacks and whites.The change that Obama talks about should start with a whole new doctrine in the black church, and who would know this more than him?So lets see what he does for changes sake,and not just talk about it..

| The preacher at my church every sunday dogs the black man and tells us tails of how lazy they are. Hell sometimes he even talks about how we will all be eating tacos all of the time because we are being invaded. The only real people are the jews he says. He also told us not to tell anyone this but I will anyway beacause I'm a dumb jew," he said be nice to the black man so they don't steel your s*** or give crack to your babies" If you would like to attend and shoot a video I will give you this sundays address. yours truly know it all |

When you get up in the morning on the wrong side of the bed you blame Bush. Who will you blame next year??? Hillary? Obama? I don't think so. As an independent I find myself leaning to the right after listening to all this hate coming from the liberals. McCain is looking better every day!!! Bush kept your ass safe these past 7 years. Will Obama or Hillary???? I hate to take that chance. McCain/Romney would be the ideal ticket!!! |

There simply is no better example of group-think and mass-dementia in modern history than the Bush Administration's use of fear-mongering on an angry and scared population. He rode a wave of popular opinion around 90% post 9-11 -- the man who would keep us safe -- and took us to war with a country that was completely uninvolved. He told us torture was necessary to keep us safe, as well as spying on us, and we bought it. He's destroyed this country's name and reputation in the world, he's spent us into a $9 trillion total debt, and he's betrayed his oath of office to protect and defend the Constitution. There isn't one thing . . . one thing . . . that he has done since taking office that I agree with. Apparently more than 70% feel the same way based upon the latest approval ratings. And you wonder why he gets blamed all the time. If an asteroid falls from the sky tomorrow, maybe I'll give him a pass. But for everything that is within his control to prevent (forget about the countless missed opportunities to proactively do something good), that he instead completely f***s up -- 9/11, Iraq, Katrina, energy policy -- you're damn right. I'll curse him from sunrise to sunset, and in my sleep. It's not mindless hate, like the kind you probably have for the Clinton's. Unlike right-wing fear and loathing directed at anyone who looks different, has a different holy book, or refuses to march in lockstep; my hatred is reserved for would-be kings. |

View this Comment Actually One trick Adam, I would still not be voting for him with an R behind his name because his experience in my opinion (and I am entitled to one under our constitution) is not sufficient to lead this country. But I give him credit for making a great, well scripted speech. It's too bad he could not do that the other night on the interview when he stuttered and claimed he had never heard his preacher say things that were that offensive. Then here today, he admits he had... So here One Trick... I'll help you along... Obama is a liar and a hypocrite. |

It's amazing how the masses can be stirred by appealing to their fear and anger. It's understandable too. I hope that one day, the rest of the world will understand how that happened to the majority of Americans who followed George W. Bush.
