Well isn't that a pretty picture? I might compare this one to the embarrassing photo of Nancy Pelosi traveling the Middle East in a burka, but this one strikes me as a little, I dunno, scary. Is Obama a closet Muslim after all? Obama Muslim?

From his wife's recent anti-American statement about never being proud of her country before her husband's run for president and this 2006 photo of Barak Obama in Somalia, sporting the attire of a PROUD muslim, one can only assume that the Obamas are not the proud American patriots that they've claimed to be.

Looks like America is in for a big surprise when this guy gets elected. It already appears that we are not getting the full story about this guy's life thanks to the amazing reportage of the main stream media. What else don't we know about this proud American Christian?

What else will our unenlightened population latch onto next without applying their basic critical thinking skills? Well they like American Idol, Oprah and Lindsey Lohan, maybe the first closet-Muslim president in the first decade of the war against fundamentalist Islam is the right move? Maybe everyone else sees something the shortsighted few of us don't see? Good job guys.

Hey pal, take a look at a picture of Bush holding hands with a Saudi royal to see how bad things can get. The politics of fear aren't going to work this time around, get some new ammo repub's. Or prepare for Obama to enact Shawia Law on all americans!!...haha.

Orbiter - are we to assume you're a Hillary supporter or just a distributor of sleazy anti-Obama stuff?

Obama Slams Clinton Camp Over Drudge Photo

Barack Obama's campaign this morning sharply criticized Hillary Clinton's campaign for reportedly sending a picture to the Drudge Report of the Illinois senator that showed him in African dress, with Obama campaign manager David Plouffe accusing Clinton of engaging in "shameful, offensive fear-mongering."

The picture, taken of Obama while he was in Kenya in 2006 on a Senate trip to Africa, shows him in Somali garb, and Obama aides suggested the Clinton campaign circulated it to call attention to Obama's African ancestry and give credence to persistent and false allegations circulating online that he is a Muslim. Obama is a Christian who attends a United Church of Christ congregation in Chicago.

Clinton campaign officials did not deny sending Drudge the picture. Instead, in a statement, campaign manager Maggie Williams said "if Barack Obama's campaign wants to suggest that a photo of him wearing traditional Somali clothing is divisive, they should be ashamed. Hillary Clinton has worn the traditional clothing of countries she has visited and had those photos published widely."

"We will not be distracted," Williams said.

Clinton's criticisms of Obama have increased over the last week as she seeks to bring down down the man who has become the clear Democratic front-runner, but the Obama photo controversy seemed oddly timed, as Clinton is set to deliver a foreign policy address today that is expected to offer a substantive critique of Obama's international record. Her campaign has stayed away from highlighting Obama's unusual biography before, even dumping volunteers who forwarded virally circulating e-mails falsely alleging that he is a Muslim.

To All,

I know that I am personally a liberal, but I am really disappointed that we are not allowed to ask questions, no matter how bizarre that they may be.

We are at a critical time in our history and I want to know exactly who we are electing! I want the hard questions asked!!! I want to make sure that everyone knows where everyone stands so that you, the voter, can make the best decision possible. We need to know where these candidates stand! Bottom line!

I am not enamored to any of the candidates at this writing. I am sure that we are going to end up with a candidate, on both sides, that is not going to really be the one to take us to where we need to be!

Let the hard questioning being. No more softball questions!!!

I wasn't pleased with Bush being buddy buddy with em, I'm not pleased with Obama being buddy buddy with em either. One big difference between Bush and Obama though, is we know what his motives were... money and oil... But what is Obama's motives?

Is he in the oil game too, or does he have other agendas. I know he claims to be a devout Christian, but a picture is worth a thousand words, and he doesn't look like he's there on official business, if he was, I would think he would be in a suit. I would hate to see a radical Muslim in disguise take the presidency, because who knows what kind of chaos that would cause.

That's my take on it.

You call this fair game? Where I come from it's called something else unless you can substantiate your sleazeball accusation!

Did you read my previous post at all? The Trail covered this article: [such remarks] "give credence to persistent and false allegations circulating online that he is a Muslim. Obama is a Christian who attends a United Church of Christ congregation in Chicago.

June, I'm well aware of Obama's correction that he's not a Muslim but that he's a devout Christian. I'm also aware of that email that went around claiming that he is a Muslim.

His entire life seems to be one of racial division and political opportunity, even if that meant abandoning his father's faith. His candidacy and perfect church-going life seem to be a little convenient. Are you saying it's wrong to ask questions and speculate. I heard an awful lot of speculation about the administration's role in bringing down the trade center towers. I'll bet you didn't find that line of questioning and speculation out of line at all, did you? Are we still living in America or the liberals' America?
