So now, US Senator David Vitter name is added to the long list of Family Values Republotards who reached for power demanding that Democratic elected officials resign for the sin of adultery, and then turn around and commit the same act themselves. Vitter raised the bar, though, by needing to pay for it, from a prostitute. You'd have thunk he could have just leaned over and asked Mark Foley for a little love, but whatever.
Vitter on protecting marriage, and banning gay marriage.
"I don't believe there's any issue that's more important than this one," said Sen. David Vitter, a Louisiana Republican. "I think this debate is very healthy, and it's winning a lot of hearts and minds. I think we're going to show real progress."
David, spend more time on your own marriage, and less time picking up street walkers, and worrying about others bedrooms, and your career would be looking a lot better.

| I hope that Vitter asked and gained forgiveness from the CATHOLIC church, since that is "the one and only" as reaffirmed by Poop Benedict XVI today. And what has Vitter's wife said in the past: Vitter's wife was asked how she would react if her husband had been caught in an affair, like Livingston and Bill Clinton. "I'm a lot more like Lorena Bobbitt than Hillary [Clinton]," she said. "If he does something like that, I'm walking away with one thing, and it's not alimony, trust me." |

| Yep God forgave him. Unfortunately the Washington DC DA, or the US Attorney for DC may have a less forgiving attitude. But Indie, all Pope Benny did was to reaffirm 19 centuries of Catholic belief. |

| You are correct in your bible verse William. Unfortunately our legal system is not based on the Bible, rather on laws passed by men, not angels, to govern men. So US Senator Vitter Republican from LA will need to face legal consequences for his actions. |

(I think I’ve got that right) Seems like these pious Nobles and Clergy (First and Second Estates) of the Republican persuasion that seek the power to rule might go a little light on the pontification to us Commoners (Third Estate). Also, where are the Glorious Iraq War posts? Latest updates, now we are to wait until the winter to see progress on the surge.
Oh, and Gen. Petreaus made an analogy to the Brits in Northern Ireland and that we could be looking at a decade or more in Iraq.
It is time to flush the turd, and Cheney with him. End the occupation, bring our troops home now.
