So, the other day I heard about how Scottsdale has now put photo radar enforcement into effect on the Loop 101 from Scottsdale Rd to 90th Street.  I really don't understand how they can do this because, isn't the Loop 101 owned by the STATE and not Scottsdale?  I mean, I could understand it if the state legislature passed it but it wasn't the state that passed it.  Sure its only a 9 month program, but how many people will be wrongfully ticketed by the photo radar system?

How can you be wrongfully ticketed?  Morals.  Take this scenario for instance - you're driving down the 101 around 10PM and you notice the guy next to you is swerving around and you don't feel safe being next to him, so you speed up.  Whoops, there goes the flash on that ticketing system and you're ticket is on its way to your mailbox.  So now you've been charged over $100 for trying to stay out of a drunk driver's destruction route.  If they would spend the money on an adequate police force, maybe they could catch more than speeders.

Oh, and how many of these accidents are caused by people speeding?  How many by drunks? Cell phones?  Compare those figures and get back to me.
