Look Deep Into My Eyes, I Can Lie With The Best Of Them In Washington....
So Jim Pederson lied about his bankrupt company, no big deal right? Wrong. In this century when any secret could be used to blackmail a Senator into voting either for or against legislation or worse, handing over information from a Senate Select Sub-Committee, it is even more important than ever for our Federal Officials to be transparent.
I am waiting, and probably will for a very long time, for the liberal Democratic Party to explain this in a logical manner. Here’s what we know so far; Jim Pederson filed bankruptcy on one of his companies then changed the companies’ name. Later, when given paperwork to fill out for official information that required him to honestly answer a question about past filings of bankruptcy, he simply lied his ass off. Not once, but five different times over five consecutive years.
Is this the new Washington we are hoping for? I don’t think so. For all the virtue that has been touted lately by the Democrats due to Foley, Abramoff, Delay and others you would think the DNC would be vetting these guys, apparently not, at least not in the case of this lying liar.
I remember hearing a few weeks back about Len Munsil not being honest about getting his wife pregnant before they got married. I thought at the time that with his stance on family and all the hard work the man has put into saving the nuclear family, it would actually have been a good way for him to say, “I believe what I believe because I have experienced a pregnancy out of wedlock and took the leap of faith to marry her and raise our family before we were really ready, that’s why I feel the way I do about teen pregnancy and out of wedlock births”. You know, a real Clinton-like “I feel your pain” moment. Of course he dealt with it all wrong, getting mad because they (the media) pried into his personal life. He wouldn’t have if I or any other thinking Republican would have been on that campaign. Instead he took crap and looked foolish when he could have turned it into a winning situation.
Now we turn back to Pederson (the lying liar) and we have to ask, “How can what he did be made to look like a positive?” I have never heard him complain about the bankruptcy laws in Arizona, he must like them, certainly was a good deal for him. If he had complained about it he could have said something like, “My Company was drowning in debt, and because of our current BK laws I could only bail out on some of the people I owed money to instead of all of them that I owed money to”. You know, a real Clinton-like “I feel your pain” moment. (Pederson claims he paid off all money owed and I could find nothing to dispute or support his statements)
If an honest politician is what you are looking for, you will probably look in vain for the rest of your life, no doubt because of their humanity an error in judgment can be found with all of them if only one looks deeply enough. I can’t say Pederson is a bad business man because Walt Disney, Donald Trump and many more giants of industry have filed BK at one time or another. What I can do is call into account the fact that he lied about it when asked. This part of the human condition I do question. Many of you on this site have said Bush lied about WMD’s (even though he was working off of some of the same info Clinton had and you only say he lied about sex) and why we went to war in Iraq (despite the prefaced word “before” Iraq becomes and eminent threat) or that he or someone in his administration was somehow involved in 9/11, but he did not lie about it. Yes some said Iraq would be a cake walk and for the first 56 days it was just that. Some said that the Iraqi’s would greet us as liberators, and the Kurds have, not all I know, but some. These are not lies; these are miscalculations to be sure, but not outright lies. What Peterson has done is lie about a specific event of which he has a unique and clear understanding if. Facts are facts, he filed BK then later when asked, he lied.
Like Clinton and “I did not have sexual relations with that woman, Miss Lewinski” a LIE! A clear fabrication designed to obscure from view the truth. (My definition not Webster’s, but I should offer that up huh?)
I guess when you Democrats go to the polls to cast your vote for Pederson as I am sure most of you will still do, I can accuse you of voting for, supporting, and being happy with a liar as your candidate.
But what would I know; I’m just an Average American.

You are sitting there and complaining about a guy that lied about declaring bankrupcy. I'm not the kinda guy that takes sides, I'm not a Democrat or a Republican so I feel I have a clearer opinion than most.
I have not read anything about Pederson lying; I'm sure you're telling the truth about this but the fact of the matter is he lied about filing bankrupcy. His lie didn't result in the deaths of several hundred thousand people (and yes that is a shot at Bush). And your going to blame the war on Clinton? Pshh... come on... whats your real name? Rush?
You probably voted for Bush and you probably know of something called the transitive property.
your vote = bush in office = war in Iraq = 50,000 - 500,000 deaths
The transitive property tells us that your vote caused anywhere from 50,000 - 600,000 deaths - how do you feel?
I say 50,000 - 600,000 because who really knows how many people have died, I can't imagine 600,000 is the right answer and I don't believe 50,000 is right either. I would say 150,000-200,000 is a safer range but like I said, who knows for sure?
Heres an interesting read on the number:

If I had to vote Pederson or Kyl, I would definitely vote Pederson and heres why. Pederson didn't piggy back a bulls*** law onto a port security bill.

Pederson supports womens' rights and MY rights by allowing abortions. Yes, I'm pro-choice and I'm going to hell (a place that doesn't exist) OH NO!!!! Cast me down into the deep hellish depths of.... ummm hell.
Of course I found out about his stance through a TV advertisement and simply laughed when Kyl tried to counter it with some rich woman praising Kyl for keeping a stalker away from her. That has NOTHING to do with abortion. The funny thing is if Kyl had it his way and that woman were raped by her predator and she got pregnant than she would have to deal with it - I wonder where she would stand if that happened.
Now I'm just rambling but that's not too much different from what happened with this article anyway.
The point is: He lied about filing bankrupcy - he didn't lie about something as tragic and as controversial as Republicans in the past.
I'm going to go beat my head up against the wall now.
