You make some good points that I agree with, tonyd, in your posted article “Keeping us Safe”.

 

  • "Hey Tony the London deal was caused by us being in Iraq, all the terrorist are there because of us".   [The truth, ...] While it greatly strengthens their cause, I can’t agree with you that it was the cause of this “deal”, or that it is the cause of their Cause.
  • Our stupid president is doing it for oil, don't you see that how dumb are you".   [The Whole truth,  …]  In the sense that it is the foundation upon which the rest is built.
  • Put your politics aside and maybe one day you will get it.  [nothing but the truth …]
  • If we wouldn't of went to Iraq none of this would of happened, both of them won't work with the UN, pull your head out.  [so help us God.]

I do have a teensy weensy bit of a problem with your last point, however.  I don’t know anyone except those dreary straw men set up by Bush apologists that subscribe to any connection whatsoever between the terrorists and Iraq, except for the fact that they have been furnished with world class training grounds for urban warfare by our presence.

I have to admire your arguments.  You crystallize President Lincoln’s thoughts and words quite well when you write:

 

  • Hey Tony you just don't get it.  They hate Tony Blair and Bush for what they stand for.  [You can fool all the people some of the time, …] 
  • I really believe it's going to come down to kill or be killed [you can fool some of the people all of the time, …]
  • Here is the bottom line, these people hate our way of life and want to kill all of us. [… but you can’t fool all of the people all of the time.]

But perhaps you could clear up a few points of confusion for me?

 

  • Who are “They”?  The “lesbos in pink shirts” you write of?  The liberals?  70% of Americans?
  • It used to be a Barnum and Bailey world.  That was too tame?  So our future now is “it’s a Kill or be Killed” world?  Sounds like a plan to me!  Is this your New World Order, your hope for the future?!?
  • I have to agree with you that these people do not like our new Pax Americana, bestowed upon them in our benevolence with aggressive corporate shock troops followed by military conquest and occupation only where necessary.  What’s not to like about “our way of life”?!?  I’m with you.  I surely don’t get why they are so ungrateful.  Kill ‘em over there before they kill us here!
