I had to laugh at the home page stating Air America was a great voice of free speech. Air America was nothing more than a station put together to bash Bush. I did listen to it. Randy Rhodes and Mike Malloy were 2 or the most vile people I have ever heard on the air. Granted, the right has Michael Savage and Limbaugh who are just as bad. That's the problem, most people get turned off by both sides and the hate that and personal attacks. I heard Stephanie Miller saying Britt Hume won best of show at the national dog show. That has to stop on both sides. Al Franken is draining Air America dry taking 2 million a year from them and he's not even the best host on the station. This goes to show liberal radio has a hard time making it. Until the left starts to embrace people like Alan Combs and Lieberman and distance themselves from Jessie Jackson, Dean, Kennedy, Sharpton and more; things will remain the same and you will be looking at the big dogs rear end for another 4 years. I hope Dean or Gore run again, I would donate to there campaigns because I can rest assured of another Democratic meltdown.

| ??? Until the left starts to embrace people like Alan Combs and Lieberman and distance themselves from Jessie Jackson, Dean, Kennedy, Sharpton and more; things will remain the same and you will be looking at the big dogs rear end for another 4 years. I hope Dean or Gore run again, I would donate to there campaigns because I can rest assured of another Democratic meltdown. ??? So, instead of running Dems who act, and embrace liberal, progressive ideas- that a majority of the people want- the Dems should run centrist weenies, who fail to fight the right with any passion; look, when voters have to choose between a Republican and a Republican, they'll choose the Republican every time. Look at John Edwards in his Senate campaign, North Carolina- red state- he won on liberal ideas, not negative ads, not good looks. Same thing with the Gov of Montana, New Mex, and here in AZ. Heck, look at the polls on issues, and large majorities (60% plus) want national healthcare, abortions to be legal, jobs in America, Social Security, honest government, and help for people in poverty. But don't worry little right wing, jack booted, pro-torture, anti-constitutional troopers, the mid-term elections will be about what's important- keeping down gays, using religion to split America, and gun rights. Of course, Cheney won't be out there on the gun rights talking points. |

| Tony, You nailed it. The Left is on their ass. Time and again the Right stumbles, and that would be an understatement..., yet the Left's lack of unity and agenda has allowed the Right to bounce back. Phaedrus is right when he mention's large numbers of Americans who support Left-leaning issues. Unfortunately, the party is broken based upon its exorbitant breadth of diversity and lack of leadership. Having a John Edwards and a Jessie Jackson on the same team makes for inconsistency and confusion for the voter. You are absolutely right about Gore and Dean. Neither man is leader enough to rally their party past the juggernaut of the current administration. Until a true leader emerges from the Left, we are destined to listen to the boisterous, and commonly ineffective, ranting of the disenfranchised, ill-represented liberals of our nation. Bryan |

| Lieberman!?! Surely you jest, tonyd. Or not. Lieberman is a prescription for Democrat disaster. Phaedrus puts it succinctly: "... when voters have to choose between a Republican and a Republican, they'll choose the Republican every time." The Arizona Republican endorsed Lieberman during the Democrat primaries. They had a mailbag full of outraged protest, but that endorsement from the AZ Republican made a lot of sense - for Republicans. Wait... Is that where you ... Are you... Naw. I have to largely agree with bryan. The bloody Democrat leadership hasn't been able to find its own butt with both hands because it has been flopping around without a spine. It's not so much that the GOP has been the right choice. The GOP has been the only choice for many since the Florida crowning. Maybe the only thing that will make the Dimocrats competitive is that the wheels seem to be coming off of the "... juggernaut of the current administration." AMEN to that!!!! and ! |

| There are always the frightened (conservatives)that do not want to hear the real truth about the "state of our union". The shame is when you overlook the lies and the criminal behavior of the present administration. To voice it regardless of which radio you hear it from should only be commended, to speak out and make these politicians accountable is the goal today. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! Duke Cunnigham of San Diego is a prime example. Bush praising outsourcing while in India, shameful. Where are you going to hear the criticizm, on Limbach, hardly. Truly if your are for freedom of speech you would embrace the ideas as well as the dissenting voices of the people regardless of where they come from. To thank Air America Radio is courteous. Tonyd you may not remember but the Clear Channel censored Voice of Arizona, check out the archives on this site. Or you can IGNORE it and go along with your rose colored glasses. |

| While I admit randy rhodes can seem to be rough around the edges at times. She speaks nothing but bold face truths! And for those of us who despise the current "rebel" administration, she is a liberal einstien who can talk circles around any of the neo-con rubber stamp radio talking heads. She is all the way to the left and always right.

| That's great keep embracing Dean and Edwards. That is a losing proposition. Most people undecided will take the lessor of two evils and that will be a republican. I am not a huge Bush fan but compared to the crap you throw out he is the best. Also don't paint such a big picture. You might be shocked to learn that I am for a womans right to choose, I don't go to church and embrace the wacko religious right just the same as the wacko left. I am all for free speech but don't like to hear people attack others on both sides by making fun of the way they look. Mike Malloy is another talk host that sets the party back and will continue to assure no democrat get's into power. You can all brag about how great Air America was, and I wish it was still here because it's good to have two sides on the air. But the fact remains they are in trouble, in New York they are not going to renew the lease for the radio show. Radical liberal radio does not work. If you wanted to run a liberal station abandon the Air America and put a mixture of local hosts like Goyette along with an Alan Combs, Young Turks on sirius and intelligent left talk and debate. I would love to be on a show called left and right where I would be on representing the right and one of you wack jobs could represent the left. We could take calls and debate the issues, the show would be a huge hit. Local talk in town sucks. KTAR is awful, KYFI is ok. The Patriot and 1310 am are gaining listeners. I like people like Laura Ingram and Michael Medved. Check them out left you might learn something.

| Didn't catch this article before. I like your idea tonyd. I'm leaving next week for a 3 week trip to China/Tibet. I guess this puts our 2 on 2 debate on hold until late October or November, and I expect at that time the show may be devoted to the midterm elections. Anyway, let's not forget the idea. Open and intelligent debate is a good idea for either liberal or conservative talk radio. |
