EXCERPT: As the holidays approach we need to remember that our freedom is not free. Many have made enormous sacrifices for the freedom we enjoy right here at home. Well some of those brave men and women have come home with the battle scars and are recovering. I, to this day, still write many soldiers who are overseas and a few who have come home from those missions. Most have come home safe and are regular citizens now, going to work and doing their regular life as we are all. It is nice to...

EXCERPT: It's funny. I was sitting there listening to the Big Three Auto Makers discuss their financial issues and I thought to myself, "God I hope flew commercial to this thing". Of course I feared these morons had flown on their personal or company planes, but I hoped they had thought ahead a little bit.
This single act alone sums up the problems at GM, Ford and Chrysler. "Out of touch" would be too easy to pin on them. I like to think of it as Economic Retardation....

EXCERPT: I think we need a time capsule for the jokes going around via test message. I am doing this not to be mean but to share with some of the liberals who might not have seen them.
I did right most of these, although one I did create, but I am sure other created it simultaneously as that is the way with anything like this... Great mind thinking alike.
I will warn you that there are others, but some are offensive and deal with things that should never be said about a president. You know...

EXCERPT: President Elect Obama,
Now that you have secured the highest office in the land, I feel I should offer my congratulations. You fought a good fight, kept mostly to the issues and did what no politician before you has been able to do with any real success; turned out the youth vote. I applaud you on your success.
I should be honest before we get to far into this sir, I am not part of your fan club, I was not a supporter of your run for office and I will probably be one of the more vocal...

EXCERPT: We have all heard the old saying, “Those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it.” This year we are being force fed by most media that we are witnessing history in the making and that if there is any repeating of history at work here, it is to be the 1980 Reagan Revolution that we are watching in modern times and geared towards Progressive thought. An awakening of sorts to the supposed failures of the fore mentioned 1980’s scenario.
Of course that can only be seen in...

EXCERPT: OK. So I watched the debate tonight and all I can say is yawn. McCain did just OK. But Obama did just OK too. I really didn't see anything in either one to say yes about.
Now, don't get me wrong, I'm not going to vote for Obama no matter what happens. He doesn't appeal to me in the least probably because I think. I don't make $250,000.00 a year yet. Close, but not quite. But I still fear Obama's tax raising plans, his idea of having our government more...

EXCERPT: I have been doing a little research of late on how things went in the 10-15 years after the crash of 1929. I knew people made money from Nov. 13th forward but I had no idea how much money they made.
I knew the Roosevelt's did well and the Rockefellers and a few other families including the Kennedy's. But my question was how? Well first of all they did not run to the hills with food and water waiting for the end to come. They jumped in with both feet. (I should clarify that I...

EXCERPT: The Bradley Effect...
I listened a bit to Randi Rhoads while I was driving to yet another important meeting in Los Angeles this week and heard her rail against the Bradley effect. For those of you less familiar with the concept here is the Reader's digest version of Wikipedia's definition of it... "
The Bradley effect, less commonly called the Wilder effect,[1] is a proposed explanation for a discrepancy between voter opinion polls and election outcomes in American...

EXCERPT: Over the past week something has become crystal clear in my mind; Our American Press Sucks at what they do.
The NYTimes, Washington Post, Washington Times, Wall Street Journal, USA Today, both the local Az Republic and Review Journal here in Nevada, they all suck. Not one of these papers is worthy of our respect based on the crap they turn out. In fact you could compare them all to People Magazine at the end of the day for all the real insight they hand out especially about the so...

EXCERPT: In the latest issue of Newsweek there is an article about Black America's reaction to an Obama loss. Titled "What IF Obama Loses? African-Americans thought he had no chance-then they started to believe. Now they fear defeat." The subtitle reads like a civil rights case from the 1960s or the latest episode of Law and Order.
Written by Allison Samuels, the piece quotes from radio talk show host Michael Baisden,"Look, if he loses we have no one to blame but ourselves because that meant...
