Our crew consists of professional costumers with extensive experience and expertise in wigs, make-up, historical accuracy, professional acting and costume. Mardi Gras also specializes in off-site events and custom builds. Costume may be rented in person, by phone, fax or email, with a signed contract. Each costume is freshly steam laundered and altered to fit with local pick-up and delivery available as well as domestic shipping. Special orders are also welcome. For retail sales, Mardi Gras buyers scour the marketplace for the finest silhouettes, fabric and accessories for the best price. Customers can expect to find an excellent selection of everything needed to complete an ensemble including hosiery, footwear, wigs, makeup, gloves and all manner of headpieces and props. For the creative, Mardi Gras has feathers, blank masks, simple black costumes, petticoats, boas and wigs, just aching to be cut, styles, teased and sprayed.
